What are the best things about your job at Sundial SOS?
Getting to visit some amazing venues and locations is definitely one of the best things about the job! I love getting out and about getting to see the spaces where our events take place and also attending industry events, meeting the contacts at the venues. I also really enjoy working on any big/interesting/unique event briefs and researching new venues.
How did you get here?
I started an apprenticeship in Travel & Tourism 10 years ago! Not long after completing I secured a job as an events administrator at another agency. I was there for almost 5 years and gained so much experience working in the events industry. I then took an interim role working in recruitment after moving to Daventry which gave me a bit of time to look for another events role – which is when the job came up at Sundial. I went on Maternity leave in April 2018 and returned to work in February 2019. I have now worked here for just over 2 years.
What achievements are you most proud of in your life?
My little boy is by far my biggest achievement. Reggie was born in May 2018 and has kept me on my toes ever since!
What do you love doing outside of work?
I love getting out and visiting new places, days out with my family and nights out with my friends!
What’s your favourite film?
All horror films and thrillers! Filth is also one of my favourite films, James McAvoy is just brilliant!
Do you have a favourite holiday destination and why?
I loved Crete, I just don’t think you can go wrong with a Greek Island but Crete was my favourite. I also loved Nice in the South of France, the Promenade is beautiful.
Name one thing that not many people know about you?
I have a tattoo dedicated to my mum and my sisters.
